It's a pop up summer! And all the hot girls are wearing ethically made indie clothing brands while shopping at cool pop ups on Saturdays. And that's exactly what happened on Saturday, June 29th in Madrid. Espacio Rastro was popping with a bunch of local brands, artists and designers setting up their stands with cool clothing, artwork and accessories. And guess what? Desperate For Attention was one of those brands!
Otro Puto Mercadillo or Another Fucking Market is a pop up event that takes place every month. And while this was our first time taking part, it definitely won't be the last! Not only were there a bunch of local brands and artisans, but also tattoo artists and DJs keeping the vibe going throughout the event! There were sets by local DJs 7teen, B!lly and iStock DJs and it was a whole party and not just another fucking pop up market.
Also some friends we made at the previous pop up were there as well! The amazing indie jewellery brand Dalisiana was right next to us! You should check her out, she makes the coolest jewellery! Linking her Etsy shop and give her a follow on Instagram as well! ❤️
We even went live on TikTok during the event, showing our products and also other brands at the pop up. It was really fun, thank you to everyone who joined! Will definitely be doing more livestreams at these events, so we can take you with us.
Our new pins were a hit! And we're very happy about that as we made them with these pop up events in mind. We know that ethically made organic streetwear isn't in everyone's budget, so we wanted to introduce an item that's more accessible, but still caries the vibe of the brand. And the pins did just that. Not to mention, that they are fully locally made in Spain! We will definitely be making more pin designs in the future to sell at pop ups and online in different bundles. Like the ones we have available now!
